Grid, layout and composition (OUGD403)

Our next task was to research grid, layout and composition.

We see how the grid is used everywhere to show precision. As graphic designers we are aware that everything is created within a grid.

This shows us how a grid is used for it guidance and how it allows us to work around with.

I think a very influenctial graphic designer is Josef Müller-Brockmann and his designs.

We see how he uses it all of his work.

We see this over the internet and even on newspapers.

We even see the metro which is a free newspaper use the grid.

This shows a piece that uses a grid to rotate text around and make it unique. 

This is a perfect example of how graphic designers use the grid to compose and layout their work.

We even see this be seen on technology such as iphones.
