Bitmap and Vector

We were now given a new brief and it was to take one of our ten letterforms and expand on it and create 10 letterforms that would eventually create our final outcome.

Before we were set off to work we had to understand the difference between  a vector (Illustrator) and a bitmap (Photoshop).
A vector is more like a shape, if you expand the shape you can carry out just like it was therefore remaining clear.

A bitmap image is created with pixels and when expanded it becomes ‘pixelated’ and hard to read.
