Today we received our first studio brief. We have to create a leaflet that informs the public of 'the design process'. I am going to explore different folding methods that will show how the design process works and ways we can apply it throughout the year. This is a good brief to begin the year with as it will refresh our memory and help us understand how design works.
Our brief is to design and produce a folded leaflet entitled "The Design Process" that describes our understanding of the design process and specifically how this is applied to design problems. This assignment will allow us to explore the nature of design at an increasingly commercial level while also exploring creative approaches to leaflet design and folding.
